The Grey of Gold Dragons Watercolor

Supplies Needed:

• brushes: 1", 1/2" straight, 1/2" tapered

• watercolor paper Carson

• paper trimmer Fiskars

• watercolor pallets Katie Rodgers shimmer and basic

• paper towels

• container of water and an empty container

• frog tape

• heat tool

Trim watercolor paper to 8.5" x 5.75".

Use green tape edges down to a water-resistant board.

I chose grey, black red, gold, and navy throughout the painting. Begin by adding water to the paper, then add your first choice of watercolor paint.

Use the heat tool and continue adding the various colors, as you let the colors paint meld together. Or allow the color to be separate and defined.

As I moved through the painting I used the heat tool as well as added colors.
