Supplies Needed:

• vise

• cement

• clear ribbon

• hook

• thread

• scissors

• feathers

• clamps

• thread holder

Set up the vise and place the hook in the vise. Place thread in the bobbin.

Begin winding the thread wrapping around the long shank of the hook base and forth to create base and thickness.

Add the tinsel iridescent wrapping by alternating the black thread. Add the olive green ribbon and alternate wrapping the olive and the black thread as it thickens in the middle of the shank.

Add the olive feathers and alternate the feathers and the black thread.

Add the cement to the eye end of the shank. The middle of the shank should be thick and humped looking like the June bug.
