July 4th Festive Wreath!

Supplies needed:

• 5 white gladiolus

• 5 red zinnia

• 2 purple peony

• 3 white peony

• red ribbon

• burgundy cross

• burlap 5" wide ribbon

• foam wreath circle 11.5"

• floral pins

• floral wire

• Pliers needle nose

• floral wire cutters

• scissors

• foam cutter

Thank you for reading my blog! Pin with a floral pin the edge of the burlap to the foam wreath. Begin wrapping the burlap around the wreath. When the wreath is completely covered in burlap, cut with a 1 1/2" overhang, fold the end under, and floral pin it securely. Insert purple peonies with 3" between them. Add white peonies between and to either side of purple peonies. Next, add red zinnias in between and to the left and right of purple and white peonies. Add the hanging white gladiolus to both ends of the cluster of flowers.

Floral pin the cross to the right lower side of the flower cluster. Use the red ribbon to make a bow. Next, use the floral wire to secure the ribbon loops. Then with the same wire attach the bow to the right and just above the cross. Tightly secure with the same floral wire that enclosed the loops.
