Beaded Eyeglass Chain

Supplies needed:

• 9 1/2 inches of sterling silver chain

• coated cord 18"

• rice beads sterling silver

• round ribbed beads sterling silver

• round stone bead

• cube stone beads

• crimp

• Swarovski bicone beads

• eyeglass holder

• crimp tool

• wire cutter tool

Thank you for joining my blog. Cut the 18" coated wire in half.

String crimp bead and eyeglass holder, take the end of the wire and string it back through the crimp bead. Then, pull the end until it has a small loop, that the eyeglass holder can move in.

Crimp the crimp bead and cut the excess short piece of coated wire. Begin stringing the pattern of beads onto the length of coated cord.

Place the next crimp bead, string one end of the chain. Then string the end of the coated cord back through the crimp bead, making a loop with the end of the chain in it. Tighten the loop, and then cut the shorter end of the excess coated cord, close to the crimp.

Repeat the loop crimping process with the eyeglass holder. Then stringing the same bead pattern. Next, add a crimp bead and the chain to finish the second side.
